Today, I decided to take a break. A break from the play. I decided to do something different, so I cleaned the fridge. I hate cleaning the fridge! I've been working every weekday on the play and the limited series. It was a bit of a bummer to realize that there was other work to do besides writing it. There's a business side and I had no interest in that, but the Sundance Deep Dive Pitch festival really opened my eyes to it. I'm a writer, a storyteller, that's the fun part. Now I have to stretch!
I know, I know, how could I be so naive? It's not like it wasn't ever mentioned in my training, it just got here sooner than I thought. Joined some organizations I never knew about, paid some people to read my script, entered some contests and here I am looking for someone with money who likes the period history stuff and wants to "greenlight" it. Wow, that's a lot of work. so today. I changed it up for a minute and cleaned the fridge.
