Why Write a Blog?
I'm going to figure this out as I go. I plan to write it something like the many journals of the past, to make a digital record of things that "pop" in my life. Sometimes I am amazed by a memory or idea that just comes to me out of thin air. The only way I can hold on to it, is to grab it so I can see it again. Looking at that memory, that picture, that experience, or insight, another time may mean something to another reader as well.
Finding a Story
I've discovered a new way to create a story. It all starts with unanswered questions about someone from the past. A site like Ancestry or Family Heritage can fill in the blanks. Members of my family have been searching for an uncle for years, actually, our grandfather's uncle. Today I solved the mystery and now I'm ready to write about it. It will now be more detailed. I just need to fill in the blanks. It's the impetus I need to tap it out on the keyboard, at least the first draft.
August 13, 2024 - Canceling Subscriptions on the Internet is going to be easier.
I am so excited today. Joe Biden has decided to do something important. I'm going to cheer for him if it works. That would take a national frustration away from all of us who have inadvertently signed up for who knows what. Way to go Joe!
